Image and the negative influence of
Media
on our
sense of self esteem is huge in today's 'image
conscious' world.
We
believe that our self esteem comes
from
a
bottle
a
lipstick
make
up
perfume
plastic
surgery
wearing
the 'right' clothes (which MUST have
the brand on the outside.......so
everyone can see how popular and
smart we are!!)

To engage all participants through relevant and
topical issues for girls age 13 - 16 (and their
Mother's) based around self esteem, self

takes to become a hairdresser.

is for anyone that is interested in the
hairdressing industry and will provide you
with insight into this amazing career option
through the eyes of a hairdresser, employer

the Edge
A
program designed for students that are in
transition from school to going into
the workforce.
Using
fundamentals such as how to dress for
interviews, prepare resumes and give inside
information into what an employer is looking
for helps to build the skills and more
importantly the confidence levels of young
people branching out into the employment
world.
This
program helps participants to 'get the
edge' in an increasingly competitive
market.
The
advantage is that this program will make
the students more attractive to employers,
gain confidence, and give them skills so they
can make informed choices about their career
path.
